The Hon. Ross Romano, MPP
Minister of Government & Consumer Services
777 Bay St, College Park
5th Floor, Toronto, ON M7A 2J3

Dear Minister Romano:

We are writing on behalf of the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (“ACMO”) to lend our full support to the proposed legislative changes that will enable digital and virtual processes on a permanent basis. Notwithstanding their necessity during the pandemic, permitting these processes to continue on a permanent basis will lead to more effective and efficient corporate governance.

ACMO is Ontario’s only professional association dedicated to supporting, educating, connecting and promoting condominium managers and management firms to improve the quality of the services they provide. Since 1977, we have cultivated an engaged learning community of more than 1,700 members dedicated to pursuing a higher standard of condominium management.

We wish to thank you and the government for enacting temporary regulations that permitted Ontario corporations and condominiums to function virtually during the pandemic, and your vision in recognizing the efficacy of making these processes permanent going forward.

Best Regards,

Paul MacDonald
Executive Director of ACMO

Katherine Gow
President of ACMO
